Angeles City to open dialysis center at public hospital

The Angeles City Dialysis Center was inaugurated last week at the new Renal Care Unit of the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Center (RLMMC) or more commonly known as ONA (Ospital Ning Angeles).

Congressman Carmelo “Tarzan” Lazatin and Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan led the formal inauguration of the new kidney dialysis center.

Pamintuan said the city is the first ever local government unit (LGU in Region 3 to have a dialysis center.

With the center, the government will be able to provide quality and cost effective hemodialysis treatment to advance or end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients in a caring and healing environment that utilizes state-of-the-art equipment.

The new dialysis center at the ONA will officially open on July 7.
